Information technology is concerned with improvements in a variety of human and organizational problem-solving endeavors through the design, development, and use of technologically based systems and processes that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of information in a variety of strategic, tactical, and operational situations. And through Information Technology (IT), technology improves rapidly. Technology is one of our needs now that we cannot deny. It plays a very important role in our daily lives. In other words, it usually answers mankind problems. The importance of technology is aiming for comfort of use in whichever form it is. It always directs for easiness in life. Technology is rapidly improving, and it’s not hard to believe that all industries depend on it, and the result of this dependence is a fascinating variety of career opportunities. Computers are already part of our lives now. But if we talk about IT, it is a short term for Information Technology.

A water piping system and electrical lining system used to transport the water and current to and from the various heat exchangers, it also maintains the water and current to flow easily and freely. Just like Information Technology (IT), it has the same whole process as the water piping system. For instance, a water is like an information or any discoveries the IT workers design,develop,support and manage, this information will be transport just like the cycle of a water piping system. The information will flow easily and freely.
A bicycle is a machine that can be controlled by a human. When using a bicycle, you have to know the function of it's parts and focus yourself when using it to avoid being out of balanced. Just like in Information Technology (IT), it has a medium and a user medium. You have to know it's medium, it's function and processes to determined the proper input so that the information will be processed and will be recognize.
Information Technology (IT) is just like roads and highways. It is because roads and highways serves as a path to us. It is also a way of communication because anywhere you go is a way of communicating. Just like Information Technology (IT), it has a lot of directions just like roads. Directions which you have to take and understand every things that you will encounter to broaden your thinking about technology.
Information Technology can also be compared into a library. Library composed of books and a lot of references, where we can get information. As well as Information Technology, we can get a lot of information through computers. Like in the library, information are stored systematically, information are grouped accordingly and therefore it is also acquired in the same manner. Generally, library and information technology looks at how information is used, organized, described, and accessed with the ultimate purpose of getting people in touch with the information they need.
Printing press was one of the great invention, allowing books to be mass produced, helping to encourage the dissemination of information. Because of this invention, lots of books was produced which helps information to spread. Just like Information Technology (IT), it has the same function of a printing press. It also have the ability to produce copies of information through soft or even a hard copy, depending on the input made.
Through telephones, we can easily communicate with other person even if you are far from each other. By this, communication was made. Just like Information Technology (IT), information is sent and received and even exchanged even in distant person. In communicating with IT, it is more advanced than telephones. Nowadays, technology is rapidly improving, so through computers you just can't talk with someone that is far from you, you can also see them through it.
Information Technology (IT) is just like an airplane. Airplane parts have uniqueness in function and design, the different structures all work to create lift. The wing creates lift to make the entire aircraft fly. The different movable parts of the airplane cause the airplane to turn, climb or descend by changing the direction of lift on the wings. With all these parts with its different functions, it makes an airplane fly. And now, airplane carries and transport people across oceans, islands to other islands through the air. Similar to Information Technology (IT), it has different functions that work together to improved our community through technology. And in IT, information are not only carried out in neighboring countries but the information is spread out all over the world.
A career in IT is not a dead-end job; it's a continuous learning and innovating of a lot of things. You can not say that Information Technology (IT) career is a dead-end job because it has a broad view of business. As the business becomes increasingly fragmented, more and more IT professionals will do tasks like enterprise business planning or business process redesign. So, young IT professionals will gain skills and knowledge that can be readily applied outside of IT and directly in the business. In the world right now, technology really influence the way we live . So by Information Technology, there's still a lot of inventions to be discover. Technology improves everyday, it does not stop. There are still lot of ways, techniques and processes to be revealed to make everything high-technology. As long as man exist, he won't stop learning new things.
